Hollywood Studios Restaurant Reviews
50s Prime Time Cafe is a great choice for a meal at Hollywood Studios. We went for a late lunch/early dinner. Three of us got shakes with our dinner which were delicious. We all got burgers for our meal which were also great. My sister spilled her drink and the server gave her a hard time. The family all enjoyed our meal and had a fun time with our server.
The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is another option for a meal at Hollywood Studios. We went for lunch and had burgers and shakes. It is dark inside and you sit in a car similar to this while eating and viewing old movie trailers. My father was really excited for this one since he's a fan of old movies and he was a bit disappointed with the trailers shown. The food was good.
Mama Melrose's Ristorante is a fan favorite in Hollywood Studios. I have had some great meals here and one not so great meal. The chicken parm was great in all the meals except the last when the sauce tasted a bit burnt. The servers are always great. The bread is always a nice treat. Disney was thinking of closing this restaurant and opening it with a new theme but the fans rallied and they changed their mind.
The Hollywood Brown Derby is a sit down restaurant. Outside they have a lounge area witch a different menu from inside. You can dine here with the Fantasmic meal package and get a voucher for Fantasmic. I personally haven't eaten here but I haven't hear anything outstanding or bad about it.
The only quick service restaurant I have eated at in Hollywood Studios is the Studio Catering Co. The menu is similar to most of the othe quick services throughout the parks. They do have gluten free options. All I can say about this restaurant was that the food was average but the service was slow. My sister and I stopped in here for lunch and we're used to waiting a bit for her gluten free food but it took longer then usual. The area is covered so it was a nice cool place to wait for food.
