For anyone who is a huge Disney fan a Disney Christmas tree is a must. Above is my Tinkerbell treetopper. I originally wanted Tink in her traditional green outfit (I passed on picking one up in Disney World about 12 years ago). I found this topper in the Disney Store in Saugus on a clearance. It was 19 dollars originally about 60. Tink's wings change colors (I'll be posting a video on our facebook page and youtube channel soon!!) Now I've had people ask me about my ornament collection and it's taken years to get to where I have many of my favorite characters on my tree. Every trip I pick up at least one ornament, usually at least 3. My last trip I only picked up one and I'm hoping my trip in December to pick up 2 or 3.
In 2017 I finally got my Disney tree skirt. I have been looking for an affortable one for years and I refused to pay 90 plus dollars. I got this one on sale at the Disney Outlet and could also use the Friends and Family so it came to around 50 dollars. I love Mickey and Minnie are on it as well as other characters.
Here are some more bargins I got at the Disney Store Outlet in NH. I have been collecting the princesses for a few years and needed Anna, Elsa, and Jasmine. I also got the 2017 ornament for a few dollars. The ornaments were onsale for 10 dollars plus 20 percent off with Friends and Family.
The ornaments above I ordered on the disneystore.com during Friends and Family. I needed another Chip and Dale, they came as a pair. I also needed some Nightmare Before Christmas and they came as a set for 20 dollars plus the discount.
This is a recent ornament (bought August 2016). I bought this is Momento Mori (the Haunted Mansion shop). I have been looking for the a Haunted Mansion ornament for some time and until this year I didn't see any I liked. I went back and forth between this one and a set with the three ghosts individually. I figured since my spots for heavy ornaments was limited that I should stick with one.
Mary Poppins, Stitch, and Oswald are newer ornaments. I picked them up at the Disney Store Outlet in Merrimack New Hampshire last year. Again these are characters I have been looking for and they were not available or I could not find one I liked.
This is a park icon set I picked up at Disney World. Now that the Sorcerer Hat is gone from Hollywood Studios I have not seen a new set available.
Glass ornaments are always a beautiful choice. I found this one on clearance in the park.
Creating a complete princess collection is tough. I wanted all the princesses to be the same but after buying my first set as small figures I couldn't find the others to match. Then you face the decision to have Ariel as a mermaid or human (I went with both since she is my favorite!). I know Alice isn't a princess but she came in set with princesses.
Tinkerbell is a character that you either love or hate. I happen to love her and the newer Disney movies that give her backstory make her a lot more likeable.
Villians are hard to find. I was thrilled to find Captain Hook with Mr Smee on Disneystore.com a few years back.
I bought the gift box set on Disneystore.com during a sale. When you buy a set you can save money and pick up different characters at once!
Having a Mickey set is a must have for any fan. This is a great collection of Mickey in his most famous roles.
Recently it has been hard to find small and light Disney ornaments. I saw a similar set in Disney World but my bag was already overflowing so I picked these up on Disneystore.com Each color had two ornaments.
